ANC and NAU’s long standing partnership has opened new opportunities for students, enabling us to develop degree pathways leading to a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program in Psychology where students can complete the full degree in Sri Lanka as well as the 3+1 university transfer option to transfer to NAU in the Final year and be eligible for OPT work opportunities. NAU will be offering scholarship opportunities for ANC students to get the best value for money when transferring to NAU.

NAU is a public doctoral University that offer top-tier academic programs and cutting-edge research located in Phoenix Arizona at Flagstaff which is ranked as the 3rd best college town in the nation. NAU Psychology degree program is under the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences and is accredited by the American Psychology Association. There are more than 400 student clubs and organizations and NAU offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure—you can raft the Colorado River, explore the San Francisco Peaks, experience the Grand Canyon, or ski a black diamond run.

NAU has a history dating back almost 120 years with a world-renowned faculty that offer personalized teaching with 19:1 student/faculty who recognize and develop students’ talents. Over 26,000 students are enrolled and over 30 ANC students have transferred to NAU. NAU is highly recognized for engineering, technology, health sciences and multiple other disciplines where their expert faculty have contributed immensely in these fields.

In light of the above we have decided to fully partner with NAU for the Bachelors of Science in Psychology (BSc) degree program where ANC Students will receive many opportunities to broaden their educational experience and the final degree will be awarded by Northern Arizona University of U.S. for students majoring in Psychology. The degree program will be conducted in the same way as the SUNY Empire State College degree program with the given course curriculum and dedicated faculty with additional tutoring assistance. Internships will also be supervised and given in the same manner for students.
