ANC students continue to receive ongoing advice and assistance, up to the point where they transfer to the US.
Planning is critical for both professional and personal satisfaction and success. Unfortunately, too many students either fail to plan at all or leave their planning to the very last minute - until they near graduation and the end of their degree.
At ANC this planning – for both one's Education and Career – begins as early as possible. Students are often met during their O/Level or A/Level studies through Education and Career Planning seminars to help them determine what career options best suit their interests, abilities, and overall personal potential.
This personal profile is then matched to where the opportunities are in today's Global Economy – from Engineering, Business and Medicine to Psychology, IT, the Arts, and Science – and a comprehensive plan developed that will help students achieve true success and satisfaction by matching them up with the right career and making sure there is a viable path to achieving success.
While at ANC students continue to receive ongoing advice and assistance, up to the point where they transfer to the US (for international transfer students) or where they graduate in Sri Lanka (for students completing their American degree in Sri Lanka).
Even after they graduate ANC is still there for them as a life-long resource for education and career development.
Mr. Daniel R. Kelch, Resident American Programs Director for ANC, has over 32 years of experience in international education in the region and heads the effort to ensure ANC students have a fantastic future as well as an outstanding education.
For academic related issues, students can consult the Academic Administrative Office, the Academic Advisor, their Faculty Advisor, or individual instructors.
