ANC Introducing 2+1 German Degree Transfer Program in International Business marks another milestone in international education, for it’s the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. Students complete the first two years of their bachelor’s degree at ANC and transfer to Cologne Business School (CBS) for their final year of studies. CBS conducts this degree program entirely in English.
Theoretical concepts of business management and management theory are linked with current questions from international business practice in the curriculum, which prepares students for leadership roles within the globalized corporate environment.
Germany is gradually becoming the top destination for international students seeking admission to European universities. Germany topped the inaugural “Best Countries” list by US News & World Report (2016) due to a number of factors: entrepreneurship (well developed infrastructure, education, and skill level of labor force), power (military might and economic success), and quality of life; the German economy (the largest economy in Europe and the fifth largest in the world) supports thousands of new jobs every day.
During their stay at ANC (first two years), students gain in-depth knowledge of business concepts and skills they need to continue their studies at CBS and transferrable skills necessary to cope with changing demands of the industry.
