THE OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS offers supporting services that assists students to reach their educational goals. We are dedicated to a collaborative approach to student development, and work with faculty, departmental staff, and counselors to impart appropriate guidance over issues of academic progress, career direction, student policy and conduct, and the transfer process.
The main objective is to maintain a pro-student approach with the ultimate goal of student retention. The components of the retention program include student satisfaction, parent satisfaction, academic progress and financial responsibility
ACADEMIC COUNSELLING
The primary purpose of academic counseling is to assist students in the development of educational plans which are realistic and compatible with their life goals. The ultimate responsibility for making decisions about educational plans and life goals rests with the student. The academic counselor can assist by helping to identify and assess alternatives and the consequences of decisions, and to provide interpretations to regulations applying to the specific study program. Students are encouraged to seek academic advice throughout their program.
TRANSFER PROGRAM
The Student Affairs Office will assist you with the transfer process with the goal of finding the right school for you.

The transfer process is lengthy and can be time consuming so it is advisable to start early, at least a year prior to transfer.
STUDENT SERVICES
The Student Affairs Office focuses on transfer services, while a Personal Development Counselor is available for psychological and personal counseling.The Student Affairs Office liaises with Administrative Staff and faculty to solve problems and issues for students and parents. The department also provides administrative support for Student Council/Clubs/ Committees and activities and is responsible for maintaining student discipline based on existing Student Handbook Code of Conduct rules and regulations.
